The place where heart-led people with chronic illness gain the confidence they need to safely start—and stick with—bee venom apitherapy.
Hi love, I’m Gillian Shelley.
BEE VENOM THERAPY GUIDE & APITHERAPIST
BEEKEEPER OF 8 YEARS
IN DEVOTION TO THE LOVE THAT KEEPS YOU GOING
Not long ago, I was where you are today—sick and searching for answers everywhere I possibly could.
While suffering for years from a complex neurological pain disorder, Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome (CVS), one of my few happy places was with my honey bees. I would literally hug my hive for relief, letting their sweet smells and vibrations soothe all the hurting places that no medicine could reach (yet).
Even back then, our love went really, really deep. They became my anam cara—soul friends. Little did I know, their medicine would be the gift to finally heal me at the deepest level. And they still are.
It wasn’t until I also got Lyme disease in 2025 that I discovered Bee Venom Therapy. My stinging journey began. The CVS was completely healed in 4 months. No Lyme symptoms after 7.
Come sit by my hive and hear more about how this all began.
What if the thing that finally turned things around wasn't another pill, synthetic peptide, supplement, soul retrieval, procedure, psychedelic—or even a 'thing' at all?
Her sting. The lifeforce she uses to defend the hive against unwelcome guests. Now yours—to protect and heal your body.
If I hadn’t lived it personally, I might not believe it either.

It begins with a short intake form for me to learn more about what is leading you here.
After that, we’ll have a free call to explore and define the shape and level of support needed. Sessions are offered on a sliding scale. Pricing is discussed during our initial conversation.
I work through both in-person sessions (in Northern California) as well as through remote guidance and consult on your bee healing journey. Folks are usually surprised with how well remote guidance can serve their needs. Some level of remote support is usually needed as bee venom Apitherapy requires high consistency over long periods of time and in-person sessions is usually not financially sustainable.
I do offer one-off sessions but the benefits of Apitherapy are usually cumulative. So I prefer working in larger 1-6 month commitments of time for a monthly rate that is determined by the time and hive products (honey, propolis, bee pollen etc.) that are included.
I can of course make recommendations given what I’m sensing, but that decision is completely up to you and I respect your knowing with complete faith!
Thank you and I really look forward to meeting you soon. -
Apitherapy is the art, practice, and science of applying honeybee hive products as healing tools: venom, honey, propolis, wax, pollen, royal jelly, hive air, and even the sound of the hive herself.
Apis mellifera and Homo sapiens both emerged in Africa at roughly the same moment in time. The honey bee has known us from the very beginning. We have been working with the gifts of her hive for our entire existence as a species, evolving our health and consciousness alongside her.
This is not new. And it's not woo.
In modern times, Apitherapy is well-studied. What is new is that here in the United States, we have forgotten. We are now remembering. Most of the world never stopped.

People come to the hive carrying physical dis-ease: chronic pain and fatigue, autoimmune conditions, unresolved trauma, hormonal disruption, nervous system dysregulation, difficulty conceiving, and the particular exhaustion of being fed up with mainstream medicine.
They also come carrying spiritual burdens. For example, these are beliefs and fears of setting boundaries, of not belonging, of getting it wrong, of not being prepared, of pain, of truly claiming their own beauty and power. They know there has to be another, deeper way to restore the psyche beyond the familiar loops in talk therapy. And they’re right.
The bees teach us that we do not need to fear fear itself. The bees also do not diagnose. They do not promise. But they are remarkably intelligent, intuitive, and much smarter & wiser than we are. -
Yes, it is safe when held with care, proper training, and the right protocols (physical and spiritual). I will soon complete the first formal Apitherapist Certification Training in the United States and I maintain all necessary safety standards (including epinephrine on site when venom is guided). Every new client begins with a safety assessment. We listen to what your body is ready to receive and never push beyond it.

Usually, ready does not mean not full certainty. Some nervousness shows that you understand the honey bees’ transformative power.
Readiness for this work feels like the pull that brought you to this page.
It feels like starting to notice bees more (and perhaps snakes and spiders)—seeing them in the world, hearing them brought up conversations, dream visitations, and even the social media algorithm oracle.
It feels like the cost of not changing is starting to outweigh the fear of change. And you have a gut feeling the bees and I can help facilitate greater freedom.
If you feel any of that, apply. We will figure out the rest together.
